Ans: The photography salon is open to photographers of all skill levels. Any resident photographer of India, professional or amateur, may participate. However, an entry may be rejected when the Sponsor or the Exhibition Organizers, in their reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to Exhibition Rules and Conditions of Entry.

Ans: Yes, there is an entry fee to cover the administration and organization costs of the salon. Entry fee structure –

• One Section Rs 100.
• All Sections Rs 300.
• Rs 250 for a group of 10 or more people.

Ans: The photography salon offers four categories for submission, such as Open Colour (C), Monochrome (M), Nature (N) and World in Focus (WIF). Please check the competition guidelines for the details.

Ans: Subject to Divisional restrictions (particularly Nature and World in Focus) images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, by the entrant; adjustments to enhance images or creatively modify images are allowed providing the underlying photograph is retained in a way that is obvious to the viewer. Images may not be constructed entirely with a computer. AI generated images are strictly prohibited.

Ans: The photographs are judged by a panel of experienced and renowned photographers. They evaluate the entries based on various factors such as composition, technical excellence, creativity, and adherence to the section guidelines by FIP/FIAP. Ans: Yes, the selected photographs will be displayed online in our website. This provides an opportunity for photographers to showcase their work to a wider audience.

Ans: Yes, there will be a total of 61 awards/prizes and recognition to the winners. The specific details regarding prizes and awards can be found in the competition portal.

Ans: Yes, you can participate in all the four sections. Maximum number entries per section is 4 (four).

Ans: The last date for participation in the contest is 14 July 2024. Beyond this date no entry will be accepted. However, if the closing date is extended, we will update the same in our website. Normally we do not extend the closing.

Ans: No. Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally.

Ans: Photos must be submitted in JPEG file format. Maximum Horizontal length is 1920 pix. Maximum Vertical length is 1080 pix. In 300 dpi. Compression 7-12, maximum 2Mb. All entrants must be ready to supply a high-resolution image suitable for printing in media, if asked.

Ans: Entries without Entry Fee will be judged but will be kept pending till receipt of the same.
