Mr. Diparna Kumar Datta, EFIAP/g, EFIP, ARPS,  President of HCC

Mr. Datta is the senior most member of the club. As a photo-artist he possesses a number of accolades from National as well as International salons and circuits. Once a Divisional Forest Officer, Mr. Datta has a great propensity towards Nature and Wildlife photography. He happens to be  the inspiration of all the other club members. His advices and suggestions are of utmost value to the club as well as the club members.

Mr. Amit Dey, Vice-President

Hi! I am Amit. I am on a beautiful journey of learning photography and cinematography. I have a genuine interest in capturing the world around me and a thirst for knowledge to improve my skills. I believe that every click of the shutter is an opportunity to learn something new. In my learning journey, the Himalayan Camera Club helps me a lot.

Mr. Subrata Kar, AFIP, AFIAP, Secretary of HCC

Subrata is a teacher by profession but better known for his vast knowledge in photography and film making. His creative works hold both appreciation and recognition among masses and he gives continuous guidance, support and inspiration to the club members. Mr. Kar is the founder of the Club and the the club members consider him the mentor of the club.

Mr. Nabarun Bhattacharjee, Assistant Secretary

I like to create something that connects with people and their emotions by managing my busy corporate life. Cinematography, film and photography have always inspired me to shape-up my mind and soul. Photography is also a form of storytelling in my view as it separates a normal photograph from extraordinary images. I counted myself as a learner and creativity is all about learning something new and innovative. Himalayan Camera Club constantly helps me to develop my skills and understand the process behind creating something appealing.

Mr. Pankaj Ghosh, AFIP, AFIAP, Treasurer of HCC

Pankaj Ghosh is a member of HCC since 2012. He loves traveling and likes to capture beautiful scenery with the camera. Till now, Pankaj has received many prestigious awards and recognitions, bothe National and International in his bucket. Apart from his passion for photography, he is an honest businessman. For the last 3 years Pankaj has been enjoying the responsibility of being the Treasurer of the Club. 

Mr. Amit Mondol

Mr. Mondol is a corporate associate by profession and works with dedication in his professional field, but he loves to live with his passion for photography. Amit likes to capture people and street with beautiful stories. He is one of the most dedicated and respected members of the club since long.

Mr. Naween Minj

Naween is better known for his perfection in capturing grand events. Mr. Minj is undoubtedly a creative person and loves to showcase his talent in fashion and wedding photography. He puts his best in making a photograph and constantly learns from the endeavour. Naween puts his efforts to make balance between his professional life and creative space.

Mr. Ujjal Mandal

Ujjal is a teacher by profession and is very much passionate about photography.  Mr. Mandal actively participates in the club activities and manages the events with great sincerity and cooperation. Ujjal is gaining recognition gradually and giving his time to make the things happening.

Mr. Nabendu (Samrat) Saha

Samrat is an entrepreneur and one of the oldest members of the club. Mr. Saha loves travelling and clicking the moments through his camera. Along with travel photography, Samrat likes to explore new places and people with the enthusiasm to discover those virgin locations.

Mr. Sayan Ghosh

Sayan is an entrepreneur and is known for his extra-ordinary talent towards digital art. Sayan captures stories through his shots and has received many awards and recognitions in the past. Recently, Mr. Ghosh has started creating video vlogs and gained many followers in social networking platforms. He is known for his outstanding works especially in digital art.

Mr. Sishir Ghosh

Sishir is a well-established wedding photographer and business owner but likes to learn every kind of photography by giving his constant contribution towards Himalayan Camera Club. Sishir also loves biking and exploring different places to frame the moments through his camera. Being one of the oldest members of our club Mr. Ghosh shares his experience and journey towards the creative field with other members.

Mr. Roupaditya Sarkar

As the youngest member of the club Roupaditya Sarkar brings a fresh and dynamic approach to photography. His primary focus is travel photography, capturing diverse cultures, landscapes, and hidden gems from around the world. Street photography fuels his curiosity for documenting urban life with authenticity, while macro photography allows him to uncover the intricate beauty of small subjects. With a strong eye for composition and storytelling, he continuously pushes creative boundaries to deliver impactful images.

Mr. Anup Ghosh

Hi, I'm Anup Ghosh . Photography is my passion. I love capturing life's raw moments through street photography. Travel photography allows me to document diverse cultures and landscapes. Photojournalism gives me a voice to tell powerful stories. Through my lens, I aim to freeze time, evoke emotions, and inspire change. Photography is not just a hobby, it's my way of seeing and sharing the world.

Mrs. Payal Roy

Hi, I'm Payal Roy. I love traveling, food, and making memories with loved ones. Photography helps me capture these moments. Joining HCC changed my perspective of life. Now I enjoy being behind the camera, creating my own stories. I click photos with a new passion, creating narratives that are uniquely mine. Photography has become my way of storytelling.

Mrs. Caroline Lodhwar

Pankaj is better known for fashion photography where his skills for arranging lights and presenting subjects is exceptional. Mr Ghosh is counted among the top fashion photographers in Siliguri along with his interest towards street and travel photography. Till now, Abhijit received many prestigious awards and recognition in his bucket. Apart from his passion for photography, he is an IT professional and looks after the technical part of our club.

Mr. Subhadeep Das

Subhadeep is indeed a good photographer with enough technical knowledge about capturing shot with the latest gadgets available in the market. He works with one of the leading camera manufacturing company and put his constant focus on learning new aspects for photography. Subhadeep give his maximum time in learning new techniques and shares his knowledge with other club members.

Mr. Sauvik Karmakar

Sauvik is a young talent and joins Himalaya Camera Club to continue his passion for photography. After managing his business and other responsibility, Mr. Karmakar actively takes part in the Photowalk and encourage other members to get engaged in the mission for learning more technicalities.

Mr. Rajat Subhra Roy

Rajat is the youngest member of our club and is indeed a great photographer. He is a damn good learner and a movie buff. Mr. Roy is a student and gives his maximum time in learning photography and watching good films along with studies. He is one of the most active and responsible members and manages photo walks and digital promotions of our club.

Mr. Yogesh Rai

I’m Yogesh Samsuhang Rai, a photographer specializing in wedding, landscape, nature, and street photography. I’m passionate about capturing the world through my lens, whether it’s the intimate moments of a wedding, the breathtaking beauty of nature, or the vibrant energy of city life. My goal is to create images that not only freeze a moment in time but also evoke emotions and tell a deeper story. When I’m not behind the camera, I love exploring new places and finding inspiration in the everyday moments around me.

Mr. Rikjyoti Singha Roy

Rikjyoti Singha Roy is a wildlife photographer and passionate about documenting nature for future research. Specializing in camera trapping, he studies human-wildlife coexistence and rare species. With a deep connection to wildlife since childhood, he has worked with India’s leading wildlife research organizations. Currently, he serves as the Project Incharge at Save Elephant Foundation, using his expertise to protect elephants and their habitats while gathering crucial data for conservation efforts.

Dr. Chandan Kumar Shit

Dr. Chandan is an extra-ordinary talent. Despite being a very serious and a busy  humanistic doctor, he has a flair for painting and photography. Wildlife photography, bird photography and portraiture photography are the genre he is inclined to. He has been attached to Himalayan Camera Club since long. Other than the technical and creative aspect, Dr Shit is a social worker.

Mr. Krishna Chhetri

Krishna Chhetri is a very new member of this club. As he has a Music Background, he believes that Photography is also an art form vis-a-vis Music. Some years of research from many different sources, he realised that in the digital world, photography is such a beautiful art form in today's generation. As a new member, he hopes to learn new things in the club. He is a very reliable person and very excited to learn more and more about photography. We, all the club members, wish him all the very best of luck in the future and do his work with dedication and perfection by his skills.
